Central office and the main production capacities of Kompanija “Sloboda” are situated in Cacak, 140 kilometers south of Belgrade. Cacak is an important industrial and trading centre in the region. It is well connected with Belgrade and other major cities, as well as with airports in Belgrade, Kraljevo and Nis.Cacak has a population of 130.000 inhabitants and it is large industrial, cultural, educational and scientific centre. The Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia made a decision to establish the “Sloboda” factory on July 10, 1948. The main goal was the production of weapons and military equipment for the army. The majority owner of the Company “Sloboda” AD is the Republic of Serbia. Competent bodies of the Company “Sloboda” AD are: Company Assembly, Supervisory Board, General Director.
